1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Crypteers uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) solely to operate the platform. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. Cookies We Use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-* (Supabase) | Authentication session — keeps you logged in. Strictly necessary. | Session / 1 hour |
| theme | Stores your dashboard theme preference (dark/light). | 1 year |
| pwa-prompt-dismissed | Remembers if you dismissed the app install prompt. | 30 days |
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. Our analytics (Plausible) are cookieless and do not fingerprint your device.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
The Supabase authentication cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled without preventing you from logging in. Under UK GDPR and PECR, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent.
4. Analytics
Crypteers uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. No consent is required for its use.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling all cookies will prevent you from logging in. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies have been set
- Delete individual or all cookies
