In sideways markets (ADX < 20, price oscillating in a tight range) or high-volatility spikes (daily range > 3× its 20-day average), our model automatically reduces the displayed confidence by 20–30%. This is intentional — direction models are less reliable in these conditions, and we'd rather show you a lower number than a misleading one. The raw model output is unchanged; only the displayed confidence is adjusted.

Our backtesting uses real resolved predictions — signals Crypteers actually generated in the past, compared against what actually happened.
